Beachbody Ultimate Reset - Day 2

Day 2 of the reset DONE!  Dinner was brown rice and black beans, salsa, guacamole, corn tortilla, and some steamed kale.  WOW, that was delicious!  I will keep that recipe for future use for sure!

Honestly, the one thing I really don't like about the reset is the Alkalinize supplement.  It's an awesome green powder that you mix with water.  It smells gross and tastes even worse.  It's purpose is worth it though... it helps bring your body back to a healthy PH balance for improved immunity!

Beachbody Ultimate Reset - Day 1

I completed day 1 of the reset.  The food is good and you get plenty of it!  I am NOT a good cook and do not enjoy it, but I found the meals easy to prepare.  They are just more time consuming than I am used to.  I did get a headache at about 2:00 P.M.  It wasn't the worst headache I have had, but it still wasn't pleasant.  On to day 2!!

Ultimate Reset, here I come!

I decided to take a HUGE step toward better health! Starting on September 23, 2012 I have decided to embark on a 21-day journey (drum roll please)... the Beachbody Ultimate Reset!! A cleansing program to RESET your body to optimal health. And the BEST part... a NO starvation, gentle cleanse that won't have you sitting at home next to your bathroom because you don't want to go #2 (or worse) in a public restroom!

I have started to feel fatigued in the last month or so.  I don't know if I have over worked my body with my workouts, if I'm not fueling my body properly, or a combo of both.  Whatever it is, I am unable to function like I did a few months back and I think the reset will help me restore my energy.  I also have a layer of fat that I can't seem to get rid of.  It may be from the same reasons I am feeling fatigued, so this reset is going to once again jump start my fat loss.

This is not going to be an easy 21 days, but I believe it will benefit me in the end... in more ways than one. Stay tuned for my day by day updates. :)

What's holding you back?

The only difference between successful and unsuccessful people are excuses.  Instead of spending the time making excuses, successful men and women spend the time setting goals, planning out how to best achieve them, and then following through.  They don't think, 'I can't afford this' or 'I don't have the time'... they think, 'HOW can I afford this?' or 'HOW do I MAKE the time?'.  This goes with all aspects of life; whether it be personal, work, or fitness related.

The most fit people in the world don't have more time than you or I... in fact, they may even be more busy than us.  They are just better at time management.  They also don't jump out of bed everyday ready for their day and ready to workout.  They have bad days like us, but they remember their goals and motivate THEMSELVES to achieve them.

Believe me, I've been there with the LAME excuses to not exercise:
"I don't have time."
"I'm tired."
"I'm a Mom and I need to spend the time with my kids."
"It's selfish."
...and many many more.  Where did it get me?  NOWHERE!  What excuses do you tell yourself?  They need to STOP because they will never help you.

YOU have to decide that you are sick and tired of being sick and tired.  YOU have to decide that you are READY to make a lifestyle change.  YOU have to KNOW that you ARE WORTH IT!   Nobody can make the decision for you and it isn't up to anyone else to motivate you to do it.  It's your life, decide you deserve the best life you can make it!
Strive to do your best and be your best... every day!
